Valvitalia Celebrates 20 Years in China and Breaks Ground on Its New Wujiang Manufacturing Facility

Twenty years of operations in China mark an important milestone for Valvitalia Group while opening a new chapter in its international growth strategy.

Under the theme "Consolidating our growth together", the Group celebrated the twentieth anniversary of its presence in China and officially broke ground on its new manufacturing facility in Wujiang, Jiangsu Province.

Covering more than 16,000 square metres and backed by an investment of over €10 million, the new facility represents a strategic investment aimed at strengthening the Group's industrial platform in Asia. Once completed, it will enhance manufacturing capacity, improve operational efficiency and reinforce proximity to customers, supporting Valvitalia's long-term growth across Asian and international markets.

Over the past two decades, Valvitalia has steadily expanded its presence in China by building long-term relationships with customers, institutions, local authorities and financial partners. This journey has enabled the Group to combine Italian engineering and managerial expertise with the efficiency and results-oriented approach of the Chinese market, creating a robust industrial platform deeply rooted in the local ecosystem and designed to support sustainable growth.

The celebrations were attended by representatives of both Italian and Chinese institutions, including Tiziana D'Angelo, Consul General of Italy in Shanghai, Stefania Mortelliti, Deputy Consul of Italy in Shanghai, Donato Morea, Head of APAC & Chief Representative at SACE, Mattia Marino, Vice President of the China-Italy Chamber of Commerce, and Antonella Fontanarosa, General Manager & Shanghai Office Manager of the China-Italy Chamber of Commerce, reflecting the strong relationships Valvitalia has established in China over the past twenty years.

Representing the Group throughout the celebrations were Salvatore Ruggeri, Chairman and Founder, Andrea Forzi, Chief Executive Officer, Massimiliano Ruggeri, Executive Vice Chairman, and Generoso Polito, General Manager of the Valves & Systems Division, underlining the strategic importance that China continues to hold in Valvitalia's long-term international development.
