VALVITALIA ACQUIRES 100% OF NUOVA GIUNGAS

Rivanazzano Terme, November 9th 2016 – Valvitalia has signed yesterday the contract for the acquisition of 100% of Nuova Giungas, manufacturer of monolithic isolation joints intended for pipelines.

Nuova Giungas, founded in 1965 and headquartered in Formigine (Modena), employs 36 people spread over 2 manufacturing plants and, in 2015, achieved a turnover of almost 7 million Euro. The Company is very well known in the sector due to its involvement in numerous important and challenging projects all over the world.

This acquisition, which follows the recent great investment for the new Fire Fighting Testing Area in Castelsangiovanni, allows Valvitalia Group to enlarge once again its already extensive product portfolio and to be recognized, more and more, for the “One Stop Shop” of the Oil & Gas market.

This represents a further step for the ongoing growth and consolidation of the Group.

Valvitalia, founded in 2002 by Mr. Salvatore Ruggeri and his sons Max and Luca, majority shareholders through the family Holding Company Finvalv and at the head of the Group, and invested by Fondo Strategico Italiano, now CDP Equity, is the italian leader in flow control equipment, systems for the energy industry and firefighting systems.

Valvitalia Group employs 1400 people spread over 12 manufacturing plants (9 of which are in Italy) and 8 representative offices worldwide. In 2015 Valvitalia Group has generated revenues for 455 million Euros, exporting its products in 107 countries worldwide.
