Data Protection Information (Legislative Degree 196/2003)
Valvitalia SpA, which manages the website www.valvitalia.it with relative other language versions (hereinafter the Site), intends to accurately describe how it treats users’ personal data and to provide data protection information pursuant to article 13 of Legislative Decree n° 196 of 30 June 2003.

This information does not apply to any other websites accessed through links, and Valvitalia SpA shall not be held responsible for those websites.

The purpose of the Site is to provide its users with information on the production of Valvitalia SpA. This data protection information is also in general applied to treatment regarding business relations between Valvitalia SpA and its clients/suppliers.

Type of data used and how it is treated
Personal data that users enter to request information is acquired and stored in out server memory media and is protected by authentication systems. Access to that data is based on the use of authenticating credentials.

In these cases, it is necessary to communicate data to receive the information requested. Failure to provide this data means you will not be able to obtain the information requested.

By its very nature, the non-compulsory, specific and voluntary sending of email to addresses on this Site means the sender’s address has been acquired in order to respond to the requests, along with any other personal data included in the message.

Valvitalia SpA recommends that when users request information they do not send names or other personal details of third parties unless strictly necessary.

Data connected to the services offered by this site shall be treated in the registered office of the owner of the data treatment and of the external person/s responsible only by employees or associates appointed for the treatment. Within the purposes as set out above, data collected may not be disclosed to external subjects, unless legal authorities and law enforcement authorities order disclosure of the data in order to prevent or ascertain crimes and in compliance with the law.

Rights of persons concerned
Pursuant to article 7 of the Italian Privacy Code, subjects who provide personal data have the right at any time to obtain confirmation that the personal data exists, to be informed of the content and origin of the data, to verify its exactness or request it to be integrated, updated or rectified. These subjects also have the right to request the data to be deleted, made anonymous or object to the treatment of the data collected in violation of the law for legitimate reasons.
