VALVITALIA Nuclear Power Division is one of the top suppliers to some of the leading engineering companies working in the nuclear energy field, including AREVA, WESTINGHOUSE, EDF, ENEL and ANSALDO NUCLEARE.
The division designs and produces in compliance with the ASME B&P Vessel Code, RCCM, RCCE codes: valves, actuators, flanges, fittings, filters, pressure vessels for every kind of nuclear plant. Any number of types of valves are available (gate – plug and swing check, globe, ball, butterfly, plug, control) and are both smelted and forged. All valves can be fitted with actuators and control systems produced inside the group.
All Valvitalia Nuclear Power Division products are certified to the most important international standards, including the ASME “U” STAMP. The division is also backed by the technical support of the VALVITALIA Engineering Club (V.E.C.) and collaboration with the “Laboratorio Energia Nucleare Applicata” (LENA – applied nuclear energy laboratory) of the University of Pavia, which constantly research new technologies and safety solutions.
